North Cascades National Park is beautiful!!
To get to Winthrop, WA we drove through farmland and desert land. We stopped and ate lunch at Dry Falls State Park. (Then I got confused and had us drive 15 minutes in the wrong direction. Haha.)
I just found out I missed out on seeing the northern lights last night. I am so upset about this. It is at the very top of my life’s to do list.
Chris and I are in Winthrop, WA! It’s all so pretty and cute here!
I am thrilled by it being cool weather and its almost June. This is amazing to me. No more summer seasonal affective disorder! I’m not being held prisoner by the sun anymore! I’m actually looking forward to slightly warmer temps! How amazing is that?! It’s kind of crazy how much my change in geographical location has made my life so much better just because of the change in temperatures as compared to Texas. I don’t have to worry about tornados or hurricanes either.
I just wish I’d moved here years and years ago! I <3 the Pacific Northwest.

Chris and I went to Mt Spokane State Park. The last mile of road to the summit was still closed for winter. lol.
Took off the screen door! (Well, it’s half off. we haven’t managed to get the screen door frame off yet.) Hooray! Painted the numbers yellow! Hooray! Next month when we get a good warm sunny day we’ll paint the front door yellow.
