New shoes as a VERY early birthday present from my mom! Now I need to repaint my toenails. I keep looking at my feet and saying, “my feet are so adorable!” lol.

My nosy neighbor.

Questions my three year old neighbor just asked me:
1) what are you doing with that dog poop?
2) why won’t Cuppy talk to me?
3) when are you going to mcdonalds?
4) what are you having for dinner?
5) are you eating again before you go to bed? Is Chris eating again before bed?
6) what color is your kitchen?
7) are you coming over to my house in 2 minutes?
8) are you coming over tomorrow?
9) why is your hair wet?
10) why did you take a bath?
He then informed me that I am not to touch his secret toys that he keeps in the headboard of his bed. And he ran off.

This morning Chris and I went to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. It’s about 40 minutes away from our house.

Today I made bread. I had issues with getting it onto the pizza stone. I ended up grabbing the lump of dough and dropping it onto the hot pizza stone. But then it stuck to my hand! So there was a lot of hand shaking and screaming involved. So the bread looks ugly, but it tastes yummy!

Six Decades of the Most Popular Names for Girls

# nothing has matched jennifer’s reign of terror

Yesterday we tried the burgers at the new restaurant near our house called Wisconsinburger. The burgers were good, the fries not so much. Next door was a house with a pirate flag. Now I wish I had a pirate flag for my house. They also had a cat in the window but I’ve already got one of those.

Today we pretended we knew things about having a backyard. We put up a little plastic fence to keep the dogs out of the flower bed, Chris put down some fresh dirt, and we cleaned up the patio. I’m even watering the grass. Maybe this year our grass won’t all die.

Today my mom sent me these two pictures and said that my niece Nora carried Chris’s picture around, read him a book, gave him some toys to play with, tried to play ball with him, showed him things around the house as if it was Chris on the iPad and not a picture, and then propped him up so he could watch Sesame Street with her.
